Paytrail's Merchant Panel passwords have been advancedly phished for misuse purposes.
Based on our investigations, we have detected a few isolated misuse attempts. The passwords have not ended up in the hands of fraudsters through the Paytrail service, but the credentials have been obtained by other means.
Security is of paramount importance at Paytrail, and we always approach it with particular seriousness and precision.
As a precaution, we have reset the passwords for all our customers' Merchant Panels. The next time customers log in to the Merchant Panel, the password will be renewed, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be implemented during the renewal process. We have sent our customers instructions for resetting their passwords.
Due to this precautionary measure, the Merchant Panel was temporarily out of service from July 25 to July 26, 2024. The service is now operating normally.
We urge our customers to be especially cautious about sharing their passwords. If you receive a suspicious message, do not respond to it or click on any links within the message.
