This is the essence of Kahvikaveri, a retailer of coffee and coffee machines. It’s part of an international group of companies called Coffee Friend Group, which has been operating in Europe under a locally created name in each market for over ten years now. How did the company’s success story begin? 

It all began in 2010, in Lithuania, when two friends decided to make their dreams come true by conquering the coffee industry. Specialised coffee and coffee machine stores were pretty much unheard of back in those days: people could only find coffee, and maybe a couple of brewing tools too, in some grocery stores and shops selling various household items. It was clear to the two buddies that coffee deserved specialattention though - that was the idea they began chasing.

As the company grew, the business expanded all over Europe: nowadays, we’re sharing our passion for all things coffee not only in Finland, but also in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and Poland - not to mention our leading position in the coffee machine market of the BalticStates. We’re not going to stop here either: we’ve recently started selling our products in France, Sweden and the Netherlands too. Our goal now is introducing every European country to truly delicious, high-quality coffee.

What makes your approach towards coffee different and unique? 

What inspires us is our slogan: “We stand for good coffee at home!”. We believe that the best coffee is the one YOU enjoy the most. It doesn’t matter which varieties or brewing methods you prefer: your personal taste is always important to us. You may go for pre-ground coffee brewed in a filter machine, or you may choose to grind your coffee beans freshly and use an espresso appliance, or perhaps you’ve already got a bean-to-cup machine at home and all you need now is some delicious coffee… Whatever your preferences, you’re guaranteed to find some true Coffee Friends over here.

It’s important for us to show respect to the unique coffee culture of each of our markets, so we do our best to adapt our range of products to the wants and needs of the local people. Not only do we sell coffees from some of the world’s finest roasteries, but we cooperate with up-and-coming local roasters as well.
