Issues with card payments and Nordea online bank payments over the weekend

One of our card payment provider partners, Wirecard, experienced some outages in their system during the weekend. As a result, a large amount of payments via their service were unsuccessful. The following payment methods were effected: Paytrail account, Visa, MasterCard, JCB and Diners Club.

The outage effected our payment traffic on 6.2. from 16:00 onward. We were notified that it was fixed today, 8.2. at 9:35. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

In the Merchant’s Panel, if the card payments you are using have "(Nets)" after them then this outage has not effected you.

Additionally, Nordea experienced a system failure caused by modifications being made to their system. This caused problems with Nordea online banking payments and card payments. To learn more, please visit Nordea's website.
